Your tour begins with a scenic departure from Venice, heading toward Treviso to visit a distinguished winery surrounded by 40 hectares of lush vineyards. The fertile soils of this area have been prized since ancient times, with a viticultural history that stretches back to Roman times. In fact, in the first century A.D., Pliny the Elder described these lands as “vast vineyards,” where ships laden with wine amphoras departed the Adriatic ports for Rome. Later, during the time of the Republic of Venice, the so-called “noble drink” became a staple export throughout its territories.
